Overview: In 1997 Burger King Restaurants expanded its global presence and entered Kuwait.
Challenge: Kuwait’s largest foodservice company and BK Franchisor needed a senior marketing professional to strategically position, launch and sustain the brand and outlets.
Solution: Lori Salo relocated to Kuwait and strategically led, managed and executed the project with the local executive team. Two years later, Burger King Kuwait had number one marketshare, top-of-mind brand awareness and exceeded projected revenue by 24%.
